Union St Tee Update!

The Union St Tee is a staple, a classic, a TNT (tried and true) pattern. It also happens to be the first indie Women's pattern that I sewed up for myself back in the day. I don't think I ever blogged about the original that I made because it wasn't "blogworthy" due to fabric choice. But the pattern itself was pretty great when I made it and it's even better now. I'm not sure how Adrianna of Hey June improved on something that was already amazing, but she did.

I made two tops, a scoop neck and a v-neck. The scoop is this gorgeous eggplant/purple color and I love it. It's a rayon spandex from Joann and it's all sorts of soft and drapey. The pattern comes with a scoop, crew, or v-neck. Also, four sleeve lengths, short, elbow, 3/4, and long. So many options!

This v-neck is great too. It's the same rayon spandex in a creamy white color. Perfect for layering under cardigans. I shortened this one just a bit for a "boxy" look.

If you don't have the Union St Tee yet, you can purchase it here, it's one of those staple patterns that everyone needs.
